What We Do

The Council is dedicated to creating a positive future for our children by providing prevention resources to promote communities that are free of addiction and other destructive behaviors. We provide youth prevention programs, information and support, coalition membership, library resources, education, training and other public awareness activities throughout a 28 county region.

Substance abuse and its related issues affect everyone. No matter who you are, this important health issue affects 1 out of every 4 people. It impacts people from all ethnic, cultural, economic, religious, education and age groups. It has serious health, emotional, economic, legal and social impact on individuals, families and the community as a whole.

It is important for individuals throughout our community to get the help and education needed to combat this issue and help us to create more resilient individuals, strengthen families and contribute to a healthy, safe community for everyone.
