Education and Training

Education and Training is offered for professionals, businesses, clergy, and general public through a variety of programs on a regular and requested basis. Ongoing services are provided for those youth and adults whose lifestyles choices have put them at risk for involvement in the criminal justice system. Programs are designed to meet the needs of community groups, and established services include the First Friday Training for Professionals, Minors in Possession Program, Adult Drug and Alcohol Education Program and an array of health promotion and wellness courses for students, families, the elderly, businesses, organizations and groups. The programs serve over 1,000 youth and adults each year.

SACADA is dedicated to providing high quality continuing education workshops to all substance abuse prevention specialists and mental health professionals. All workshops are presented by experts in the field. We are continuously striving to be the place where professionals come to meet their licensing and re-certification requirements.
